New Jersey has a population of over 8,717,000 with it's largest city being Newark.

New Jersey

Productive farmland covers nearly one million acres, about 20% of New Jersey's land area. The state ranks high in the production of almost all garden vegetables, as well as cranberries, blueberries, and peaches. Poultry, dairy products, and seafood are also top commodities.

Little Egg Harbor River

The spectacular 70,000-acre Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area beckons you to enjoy the 40 miles of Delaware River landscape, waterfalls, rugged mountain scenery and unlimited outdoor activities. Explore over one million acres of farms, forests and wetlands as you canoe, kayak and swim in New Jersey’s Pinelands, the country’s first National Reserve.

Ringwood State Park

Pack your skis for a cross-country trek or downhill skiing in the Skylands, boasting premium ski and snowboard areas.

Snowboarding

See for yourself why we’re called the Garden State as you admire the breathtaking gardens and arboretums proudly rooted throughout New Jersey.

Reeves-Reed Arboretum

Tourism is the second-largest industry in New Jersey. The state has numerous resort areas on 127 mi of Atlantic coastline. In 1977, New Jersey voters approved legislation allowing legalized casino gambling in Atlantic City. Points of interest include the Delaware Water Gap, the Edison National Historic Site in West Orange, Princeton University, Liberty State Park, Jersey City, and the N.J. State Aquarium in Camden.

High Point State Park

Fishing is great in New Jersey, with so many rivers, lakes and streams to chose from the choices are unlimited.

Indian Lake

Over a dozen studies have shown that being with family and friends, relaxing and being outdoors and close to nature are the primary reasons people spend time on the water, and you can't do any better than fishing in New Jersey.

Pequest River

New Jersey also has some of the best bird and game hunting in the country. From ducks, geese and pheasant to deer, boar and bear hunting in New Jersey is a tradition. Hundreds of thousands of hunters each year take to the wild seeking a trophy and filling their freezer with meat for the winter.

Geese- White fronted

Birding is the fastest-growing outdoor activity in America. In a recent study by the U.S. Department of the Interior, appreciation of birds ranks second behind gardening as America's favorite pastime. Birds add a fascinating dimension to our surroundings with their color, liveliness, and music. Because they are wild creatures, they bring an element of nature into our lives.

Grosbeak-Tanger-Chickadee-Srubjay

In New Jersey we have over 300 species of birds, perhaps this is why every year millions of Americans come to New Jersey to watch and take pictures of the birds and wildlife in our wonderful state.

Queen-Question Mark-Red Admiral

Come and enjoy the great outdoors that New Jersey has to offer.
