Utah has a population of over 2,469,000 with it's largest city being Salt Lake City.
Utah is a great vacationland with 11,000 mi of fishing streams and 147,000 acres of lakes and reservoirs.
Among the many tourist attractions are Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, and Zion National Parks; Cedar Breaks, Dinosaur, Hovenweep, Natural Bridges, Rainbow Bridge, Timpanogos Cave, and Grand Staircase (Escalante) National Monuments; the Mormon Tabernacle in Salt Lake City; and Monument Valley. Salt Lake City hosted the 2002 Winter Olympics.

Utah also has some of the best bird and game hunting in the country. From ducks, geese and pheasant to deer, boar and bear hunting in Utah is a tradition. Hundreds of thousands of hunters each year take to the wild seeking a trophy and filling their freezer with meat for the winter.

In a recent study by the U.S. Department of the Interior, appreciation of birds ranks second behind gardening as America's favorite pastime. In Utah we have over 300 species of birds, perhaps this is why every year millions of Americans come to Utah to watch and take pictures of the birds and wildlife in our wonderful state.
