Virginia is home to the Central Intelligence Agency, Department of Defense, and is the training center for the F.B.I., Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps and several Army bases. These folks are not just training, they are 24/7 on alert, combat ready military, guarding and protecting the very center of our government. Viginia is the heart of the military and the muscle of the U.S. Government and has been since George Washington was President. Known as the "Mother of Presidents", eight presidents were born in Virginia, more by far than any other state.
