Wisconsin has a population of over 5,536,000 with it's largest city being Milwaukee.
In Wisconsin it's all about family, from Grandfather to Father, from Father to Son, fishing is in the blood and it gives me great pride to introduce Bret Alexander a seasoned Sport Fishing Guide with 25 years of experience on the waters of Wisconsin. His company Alexander's Guide Service works closely with four other guides and can accomodate groups up to 20 people. The state has over 15,000 lakes, of which Winnebago is the largest. Water sports, ice-boating, and fishing are popular, as are skiing and hunting. The 95 state parks, forests, and recreation areas take up one-seventh of the land.

Drive around Lake Winnebago, Wisconsin's largest inland lake, and discover 88 miles of contrasting shoreline and unique community adventures. At 28 miles long and 11 miles wide, Winnebago is the 2nd largest inland lake in the 48 states. Tour route points out the beauty, history and attractions of various communities along the way. Tour includes Fond du Lac, Calumet County, the Fox Cities, and Oshkosh.

Among the many points of interest are the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore; Ice Age National Scientific Reserve; the Circus World Museum at Baraboo; the Wolf, St. Croix, and Lower St. Croix national scenic riverways; and the Wisconsin Dells.

Fishing is great in Wisconsin just ask the ladies, with so many rivers, lakes and streams to chose from the choices are unlimited. Do you remember your first fishing or boating trip? Ask anyone to tell the story of who first took them boating or fishing - chances are good the story is deeply personal and meaningful.

Over a dozen studies have shown that being with family and friends, relaxing and being outdoors and close to nature are the primary reasons people spend time on the water, and you can't do any better than fishing in Wisconsin.

Wisconsin also has some of the best bird and game hunting in the country. From ducks, geese and pheasant to deer, boar and bear hunting in Wisconsin is a tradition. Hundreds of thousands of hunters each year take to the wild seeking a trophy and filling their freezer with meat for the winter.
Birding is the fastest-growing outdoor activity in America. In a recent study by the U.S. Department of the Interior, appreciation of birds ranks second behind gardening as America's favorite pastime. Birds add a fascinating dimension to our surroundings with their color, liveliness, and music. Because they are wild creatures, they bring an element of nature into our lives.
In Wisconsin we have over 300 species of birds, perhaps this is why every year millions of Americans come to Wisconsin to watch and take pictures of the birds and wildlife in our wonderful state. Come and enjoy the great outdoors that Wisconsin has to offer.
