On the right side menu, Wyoming Attractions.

Wyoming is the least populous U.S. state with 515,000. The mineral extraction industry and the travel and tourism sector are the main drivers behind Wyoming’s economy.

Yellowstone

Over six million people visit Wyoming’s national parks and monuments.

Yellowstone National Park

The key tourist attractions in Wyoming include Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Devil’s Tower National Monument, and Fossil Butte National Monument. Each year Yellowstone National Park receives three million visitors.

Grand Teton National Park

Historically, agriculture has been an important component of Wyoming’s economic identity. Its overall importance to the performance of Wyoming’s economy has waned. However, it is still an essential part of Wyoming’s culture and lifestyle. The main agricultural commodities produced in Wyoming include livestock (beef), hay, sugar beets, grain (wheat and barley), and wool. Over 91% of land in Wyoming is classified as rural.

Teton Iris and Lupine Garden

Fishing is great in Wyoming, with so many rivers, lakes and streams to chose from the choices are unlimited.

Bighorn River

Over a dozen studies have shown that being with family and friends, relaxing and being outdoors and close to nature are the primary reasons people spend time on the water, and you can't do any better than fishing in Wyoming.

Gallatin River

Wyoming also has some of the best bird and game hunting in the country. From ducks, geese and pheasant to deer, elk, boar and bear hunting in Wyoming is a tradition.

Bear River State Park

Hundreds of thousands of hunters each year take to the wild seeking a trophy and filling their freezer with meat for the winter.

Ducks2

Birding is the fastest-growing outdoor activity in America. In a recent study by the U.S. Department of the Interior, appreciation of birds ranks second behind gardening as America's favorite pastime.

Birds add a fascinating dimension to our surroundings with their color, liveliness, and music. Because they are wild creatures, they bring an element of nature into our lives.

Yellowstone Lake

In Wyoming we have over 300 species of birds, perhaps this is why every year millions of Americans come to Wyoming to watch and take pictures of the birds and wildlife in our wonderful state.
